Hi Jennifer,
Disney's Beach Club Resort is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotels! You can easily walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios or take a Water taxi if you prefer. You can also travel to Magic Kingdom Park by way of the Epcot Monorail, giving you access to 3 Theme Parks without needing to use Disney Bus Transportation. Disney's BoardWalk is just a short walk from the Resort and has lots of great entertainment in the evening and, in my opinion, some of the best restaurants on property. My family loves to view Illuminations: Reflections of Earth fireworks on the bridge just before the International Gateway entrance to Epcot.
Since you will be visiting during the busy Fourth of July holiday, then I suggest looking at the schedule of
Extra Magic Hours during your stay and then plan accordingly. Take advantage of the extended Park Hours when the Theme Parks are less crowded. Since you have a Park Hopper Option Ticket, you can start off early at the Theme Park with Extra Magic Hours in the morning and then end your day at the Theme Park that has Extra Magic Hours in the evening. Magic Kingdom Park is always busier on weekends, so I recommend visiting the other Theme Parks over the weekend. If you want to catch the Fourth of July Fireworks show at Magic Kingdom Park, then I would recommend arriving as early in the day as possible. In the past there has been an additional showing of the Fireworks on the third of July as well; you may want to view that show instead of the busier Fireworks show on the fourth.
I hope this information helps. Please stop back by and let us know if we can help you with any additional vacation planning questions!
Magical Wishes,
Susan
