Arriving from Australia for our first WDW experience. I have read that you can get groceries delivered from Walmart, great for some simple breakfasts and sandwiches. Is Walmart still delivering groceries using plastic bags? Is a problem with Bell Services?

Hello, Kathy! I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'd be happy to help ensure that your first visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is extra special!

Although I love an occasional splurge at a Signature Restaurant or two while on vacation, I like to balance out my spending with some smart savings strategies. I've had groceries delivered to my Walt Disney World Resort hotel for years now, and it's a great way to save and stock up on essentials such as breakfast items and diapers (and a bottle of wine for mom and dad). The Walt Disney World Resort Bell Services desks will accept grocery deliveries for you (and keep them cold); however, if Bell Services delivers your order to the room, there is a flat-rate $6 fee (prices are subject to change at any time). You can also pick up your order from Bell Services for no fee- I usually choose this option and put my teenage sons to work!  I called the Walmart located in Kissimmee, Florida, and I was told they still use plastic bags for their delivery orders. If you want any additional tips on grocery delivery orders, my friend Brandy is the expert. She's answered dozens of questions on this topic alone, and you can do a quick search on our site if you'd like to read them!

We love helping first-time visitors plan their ultimate vacation, Kathy! If you need any more advice, from FastPass+ to making dining reservations, remember we're all ears!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
