Hi Julie!
You are going to love
Trail's End Restaurant because you just can't beat the all-you-care-to-enjoy fried chicken, smoked pork ribs and macaroni & cheese. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem, but since it is located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, it can be tricky to get from your Disney Resort hotel to your dining reservation.
If you are using complimentary resort transportation to get to Trail's End Restaurant from Disney's Pop Century Resort, you will need to take a bus to Magic Kingdom and then take a boat to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I would recommend that you allow 2 hours for trip, which is a pretty tight timeline to fit into your itinerary. So I recommend that you take advantage of the Minnie Van Service, since it will save you so much time on this trip!
The
Minnie Van Service works using the Lyft app to provide personal transportation around Walt Disney World Resort for a flat fee. This is perfect for your trip since it can pick you up right at Disney's Pop Century Resort and take you directly to the Settlement at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, where Trail's End Restaurant is located. I recommend that you allow 45 minutes if you are using a Minnie Van, which fits perfectly into your itinerary.
I checked with
my fellow panelist Todd, who is Canadian, and he said he was able to download the Lyft app without a problem while he was at Walt Disney World Resort last week and that you can expect the currency conversion to apply on whatever linked payment you are using with the Lyft app.
Let us know if you have additional questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
