    We are arriving at Art of Animation on Nov 27 but will land earlier then check in time can we check in early and leave our luggage to be put in the room when its ready ?and head to a park for the day ? What time Do our meal plan and park tickets activate

    Hi, Melanie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question.

    I so know the feeling of wanting to hit the magic running as soon as you arrive! And hooray for a stay at one of my favorite resort hotels, Disney’s Art of Animation. I hope you love it as much my family does!

    Melanie, I have great news for you! As soon as you arrive, you can absolutely make a pit stop at the hotel, drop off your bags at Bell Services, and once you come back, they will magically be waiting for you in your room. I recommend doing online check-in before you arrive, so you can bypass the front desk altogether when you get there. Online Check-in will send you a text message once your room is ready with the room number and a link to a map of the resort. Since your MagicBands will already be activated when you arrive, you can just go straight to your room to rest and reenergize for your next magical day! 

    Your theme park tickets and Disney’s Dining Plan entitlements will be ready to be used once you arrive so don’t forget to have your MagicBands with you. These will be your keys to the kingdom while you are there!

    I hope this helped answer your question. During your stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, be sure to pay attention the details all around. There are surprises in every corner. If you get to take a dip in the Big Blue Pool, go ahead and listen to the sounds “under the sea” for another magical surprise!
