Merry Christmas, Rita! Thanks for reaching out to our friendly little corner of the internet with your festive question.
As the resident decorator in my household, I feel this question deeply. While the
stunning decorations around the resort add such beauty and joy to everyone's stay, a little something extra in the room doesn't hurt.
Especially when it comes to a holiday like Christmas, where the decor that surrounds you adds a special touch of magic for
the season.
While your room currently cannot be decorated before you arrive,
you are certainly welcome to order some treats and surprises to make your room festive during the Most Magical Time of the Year! These items will be delivered to your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. You can pick them up a the
Front Desk or you may be able to have them delivered to your room as long as you are present. If you decide to bring your own decor, please ensure that your items follow the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules and that you are not using items or hanging methods that would damage or permanently change anything in your room.
Did you know that during the week of Christmas,
Minnie's Most Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks and
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will both be performed for all Guests (weather permitting)? These exciting and wonderful
entertainment offerings are typically reserved for Guests attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. So, it's definitely a special treat when they are performed for everyone. Just check the
calendar to confirm and get ready for some magic in the streets of
Magic Kingdom Park and over the already-stunning
Cinderella Castle.
If you have any other questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I wish you a Christmas full of wonder, spectacle, and heart-warming memories to last a lifetime!
Candy canes and chocolate fill the air,
Matt
