    we are arriving 1/14/13 around noon, and checking into P.O. Riverside. We have a 5:00 reservation at 1900 park fare for dinner with the princesses. I am wondering what is the best/fastest way to get from P.O.R. to Grand Floridian using Disney transportatio

    Hi Luke, 

    Welcome to the moms panel! Your trip is fast approaching, you and your family must be so excited!  Taking care of last minute details such as transportation questions is a great idea!  My family loves Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, and have become experts on traveling to and from the different theme parks and other resorts using Disney transportation.  

    The easiest way to get to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa would be to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom bus stop.  From there, you can either take a short trip on the monorail, or board a boat to make the journey to your beautiful destination.  

    Regardless of the option you choose, I would leave Disney's Port Orleans Resort 60 - 75 minutes before your reservation.  The bus ride may only take 15 minutes, but you need to leave yourself time for boarding, disembarking as well as walking short distances.
