Hi, We will be arriving on April 23 and staying at the Art of Animation. Any idea of the bus schedule? How long does it usually take to get to the parks? Is there usually a long bus wait? I am told Art does not share a bus with any other resort..

    Bernadette:

Your trip to Disney and its amazingly-themed Art of Animation resort is just around the corner.

Using the Transportation Wizard at www.ourlaughingplace.com, it looks like the average drive time for a Disney bus from Art of Animation to the parks is about 15 to 20 minutes, with the ride to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios being the shortest and the drive to Magic Kingdom the longest at about 22 minutes. You'll be glad to know that my family has found that the typical wait for any bus at Walt Disney World is about 20 minutes, not too long in my opinion to stand and wait, and you are correct that the resort does not share a bus route with any other resort, a fact that can usually save up to as much as 15 minutes.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
