Arriving at AOA Sat Oct 20. Not doing any parks til Sun. Thinking about taking kids to FW for campfire sing a long and movie. Could you give us more info please start time how to get there from AOA how long to get there and how long event lasts Thanks!

    Hi Kelly,

The campfire and sing-a-long start nightly behind the Meadow Trading Post at 7 pm.  Chip and Dale have been known to make an appearance there.  Typically the Disney movie that follows the campfire begins at approximately 7:45 pm.  Most movies last roughly 90 minutes.  It's always a great idea to call Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort the day before you venture over there to confirm that the times for these events have not changed.

The best way to get to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground from your resort would be to board a Magic Kingdom-bound bus at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  When you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, board a boat headed to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.  Upon disembarking your boat, ride an internal resort bus to the Meadow Trading Post.  Be sure to allow no less than one hour from your point of origin to your destination.  In fact, if it were me, I'd allow 90 minutes because I absolutely hate to be late.  Besides, if you arrive early, that just gives you time to explore the lovely resort and campground areas.

Enjoy your stay at Walt Disney World next week!
