I will be arriving at Animal Kingdom on a bus from a Disney cruise ship at approx 8:30AM and would like to get to Magic Kingdom by 9:30AM for a tour. What is the quickest way to get to Magic Kingdom from Animal Kingdom?

    Hi Mary,

I'm not sure if you are referring to the Animal Kingdom Lodge or Animal Kingdom Park, so I will give you both answers.

From the Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will hop on a bus bound for the Magic Kingdom. Those buses come approximately every 20 minutes. You never know if you've just missed one (so you may have to wait a bit) or if one is coming around the bend (so you'll be ahead of schedule). Those buses will bring you straight to the front of the Magic Kingdom.

From the Animal Kingdom Park, you will look for a bus headed to the Transportation and Ticket Center. You'll then transfer to either the monorail or ferry boat which will take you the Magic Kingdom.

You should always plan on at least an hour to an hour and a half for buses. Since you are going to be on such a time crunch, I recommend that you take a taxi. It'll cost less than $20 and not stressing out will be with that price alone. The taxi will take you the Transportation and Ticket Center so you will still need to do the monorail or ferry boat, but at least you won't be waiting on the initial bus to arrive.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
