I am arriving at AK on July 8 and would like to dine at Boma before heading to Epcot. The reservations show an opening for two at 4:30 but the first opening for one is at 5:05. I am coming alone, Why wouldn't I be able to get the earlier seating?

Hi Lisa!  The dining reservation system can be hard to understand sometimes even for us!  I would choose the time that best fits your schedule and select that time for either two or one person. Basically this isn't going to make much difference and simply tell them if you are alone at check in the reservation is now one. But many times you will meet people and the ability to have them join you for a meal is a fun way to cultivate friendships with people who have the same Disney passion.

Boma's seating is at tables where many people can sit together if they choose. The computer system will consider seating configurations with guest numbers and thus the differences in times for what you requested. It is a huge gigantic puzzle that most of us will never be able to put together and know how we got it in one piece!
