Hello, we are arriving at the airport at 12:00 noon w/ kids12 and 2 & want to know if we can make it to Epcot for a 3:25 fast pass since we need to go to our resort (PO) to drop off our luggage. I am not sure how long the Magic Exprress takes.

Hi Michelle! Disney’s Magical Express is one of my favorite benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. I love that they take care of our baggage and all I have to worry about is herding my deliriously excited family towards the Magical Express welcome area. Travel times to Walt Disney World Resort from the airport when using Magical Express can vary, so I try to budget 45-75 minutes. More than likely, your Resort will not be the only stop that the motorcoach makes when traveling from the airport. On a recent trip, it took us exactly one hour to reach Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, as we stopped at three other Disney Resort hotels before reaching our final destination.

FastPass+ selections are arranged with a built-in one-hour window in which they may be used by Guests. I am assuming your FastPass+ window is for 3:25 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. If so, I think you will have more than enough time to arrive at your Resort, drop off any personal items you have with you and then hop over to Epcot. Even if your window is for 2:35 p.m. to 3:25 p.m., I still think you will be able to make it, but may be cutting it close. My family likes to head to one of the theme parks as soon as we get there, and we have always gotten to a park within three hours of landing at Orlando International Airport (MCO).

I hope you have a magical trip, Michelle. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
