Hi ,we arrive 08/02 for 2 weeks but dont want to use park tickets until the next day in the parks so that we can have a full day on our last day in the parks before flying home, if we use our DDP on first night will this affect when the park tickets expire

    Hi Nigel,

As long as you make your Advanced Dining Reservations for a restaurant that is located outside of the parks, you won't need to use a park ticket on that first day. There are many wonderful restaurants located inside the Disney Resorts and at Downtown Disney that you can go to. With the Disney Dining Plan you are given a set amount of meals (based on your length of stay and which package you purchase). You can use those whenever you'd like until they are gone and it doesn't have to correspond with which days you spend in the parks.

A few recommendations for Table Service restaurants in the Disney Resorts:

Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, Boma - Flavors of Africa, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Whispering Canyon Cafe. You can search for restaurants HERE. On the right hand side of the page is a white box titled "Restaurant List". Click the "Location" tab and select "Resort Hotels" to find ones located inside Disney Resorts.

Be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible (up to 180 days in advance) by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
