We arrive at WDW on May 1 and are excited to be staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter! Our plane gets in around Noon and I was wondering if we are allowed to use the pool at the resort once we arrive even if our room isn't ready yet.

    Hi Rachel!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! You are absolutely going to love it!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter (POFQ) is an absolute gem in the moderately priced resort category. One of the things I always do when arriving early is to pack everyone's swim suits in a carry-on bag. If our room isn't ready upon arrival, we get changed in the restrooms before heading to the pool at our Disney Resort Hotel. Therefore, the answer to your question is an absolute YES! By the way, you'll love Doubloon Lagoon, the exceptionally themed pool at POFQ. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Enjoy a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
