We arrive in WDW in less than one week! We are staying in a 1BR at BWV. I know there is a washer/dryer in the room, my question is do they provide detergent and fabric softener or should we bring our own? Also is there a decent hair dryer? Thanks!

    Hi Nichole,

How exciting that your vacation is less than a week away!  You will have a wonderful time.  The weather has been very warm and steamy, so I would definitely recommend bringing sunscreen and hats.  You will love staying in a one bedroom villas at the Boardwalk!  The location is fantastic.  You can walk to Epcot or Hollywood Studios (or take the boat as well.)  If you are a Disney Vacation Club member, you will get housekeeping service after your fourth day in the villa.  If not, you will have daily housekeeping that will replenish dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioners.  You will get a small box of powder Tide, but no fabric softeners.  I will usually bring dryer sheets to prevent the static cling.  Of course, if you do not like Tide, I would bring your own detergent as well.  The washer and dryer are a stackable unit so your loads will be smaller.  The hair dryer works well.  It is a regular one (not a wall mount), and I never have any trouble with it at all.  No need to bring your own.  I know you will have a magical vacation, Nichole.  Please send me a follow up question if I can help you further.
