    Arrive WDW Aug 12 staying until 23rd. Want to pre-purchase Memory Maker now but bit confused re: 30 days use after activation. Does 30 day countdown begin when MM is purchased or when we take our first picture on-site? Better to wait till 3 days before?

    Hi Melinda! Welcome back and thanks for your question.
    Memory Maker is a great acquisition! Disney PhotoPass Photographers will be located at the best spots taking the most beautiful photos of you and your family. Besides, all pictures taken will be yours!
    The 30-day “window” will start counting for your Memory Maker when you download your first photo on MyDisneyPhotoPass.com or My Disney Experience App. It means you can buy your Memory Maker in advance, but you will be activating it when you start taking pictures.
    Remember, if you are getting the discount when purchasing Memory Maker in advance, you will need to wait three days before you start using it at WDW.
