We arrive on a Sunday morning and leave that Saturday, so a 6 night stay. Does our dining work on the last day we are there which would be a Saturday? Our flight isn’t till 8pm, curious if we need to budget for that day or if we are covered.

    Hi Angela!

It sounds like you are getting ready for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I'm so happy to help you with this awesome question. The Disney dining plans are a great way to pay for the majority of your dining expenses in advance of your trip. I recently got back from a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation with my best friends where we used the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan and it was so nice to enjoy whatever looked good on the menu without worrying about the cost of each meal!

When you use one of the Disney dining plans, the number of dining entitlements you receive is based on the number of nights of your Disney Resort hotel reservation. For your six-night reservation, you will receive six sets of dining entitlements, based on the specific dining plan you choose, for each person on your reservation. So for example, if you will be using the Disney Dining Plan, you will receive six quick service entitlements, six table service entitlements and twelve snacks for each person on your reservation to use flexibly throughout your six-night vacation.

You will be able to use your dining entitlements from your check-in day through midnight on your check-out day, which means you can use your dining entitlements all day on the Saturday you check out. Since you have an evening flight, then you can use your dining entitlements throughout your final day before leaving for the airport. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app as it's the easiest way to track your dining entitlements through your vacation to make sure you get the most out of your dining plan!

Come back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions as your trip approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
