We arrive Sun 9/6. Have 3 children (6, 4 & 2) & flight lands at 2 so we hope to be @ hotel by 3 (Poly.). After check-in, we plan to go to MK for late afternoon and evening and then do MK again on Mon. Suggestions on how we should see MK w/ these

    Hi Kristine,

I bet the kids are so excited. We are staying at the Polynesian for the first time this December and can hardly wait. I am not sure if you are planning on renting a car or using Magical Express, but it is unlikely you will be on property an hour after you land.

The airport is approximately thirty minutes from Disney World, and you will need to allow for luggage and car pickup if you are renting and the lines, boarding and various resort drop-offs if you are taking Magical Express. Don't forget you will also need to check-in, unload and maybe even freshen up in your room. We get so anxious to start our fun but take your time so you do not feel rushed and exhaust yourself before the fun even begins.

Magic Kingdom is a great place to focus your time with the ages of your children. This park offers the largest number of slow moving attractions designed for all ages. Fantasyland and Toontown will be the two big hits with your children, but with a late arrival on the first day you may want to skip those at first. Both areas tend to be crowded and often are better to visit right at the start of the day. I would head back through Fantasyland and check it out when you arrive. If the wait times are reasonable, stay and play, if not head towards Adventureland or Tomorrowland and enjoy the attractions and shows there. Later in the evening you may find Fantasyland has emptied slightly and you can try some of the fun then. Be sure to plan on arriving at opening the following morning and heading back to Fantasyland then.  Even if you were able to ride the attractions the night before, I have a feeling your kids might be begging for a second turn and the lines should be much smaller this early.

If you have a Tinkerbell fan in your mix, plan on lining up at the New Pixie Hollow in Toontown early. The line gets very long, very fast , and the sooner you visit Tink and her friends the better. Hope you have a magical time!
