We arrive at Shades of Green in PM June 6, 2022. 1st day in a park is June 7. What is the first day we can make dining reservations? Are Shades of Green guests only allowed to make dining reservations 60 days from each day? or for whole week?

Hey there, Darlene, and welcome to planDisney! A stay at Shades of Green means that you or someone close to you serves - or has served - our country as a member of the armed forces. Thank you for your service to our country!

Darlene, your arrival date is considered “day 0” when booking your Advanced Dining Reservations. So for your arrival date of June 6, 2022, the dining reservation window actually opened this morning, April 7th, at 5:45 a.m. EST. And since you are staying at the Shades of Green property, you can make dining reservations for the entire week now that your reservation window is open. If you can’t get your desired restaurants toward the beginning of your visit, I recommend trying to find an available time closer to the end of your Disney Vacation. If you are not able to find availability at your desired restaurant, no worries. Keep checking back because Dining Reservation availability is constantly changing. We always find much more dining availability as our arrival date approaches. I also recommend looking for availability within 24 hours of the day and time that you’d like to dine. Many restaurants will show more availability as plans change and booked parties end up canceling their reservations!

If you’re looking for recommendations, my favorite restaurant is Yak & Yeti in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. It serves both lunch and dinner, and I recommend either one. If you decide to stay for dinner, be sure to catch Avatar - The World of Pandora after dark. Trekking through this land at night is truly beautiful!

I hope this helps, Darlene! If you have additional questions while you plan your Disney Vacation, come back by and ask me!

    Until Next Time,
