Hi Caroline!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Thank you for asking such a good question - I am sure there are many guests from the UK who will find this useful. Coming from the UK myself, I have been using a multi-currency, pre-paid card for many years now, and have found it invaluable with the fluctuating exchange rates, and when trying to avoid credit card fees/transaction fees when converting our currency into US Dollars. Many of the UK Tour Operators provide multi currency cash passport cards, and providing these display the MasterCard logo you should be able to use these across the Walt Disney World Resort for shopping and dining. There are several good multi currency pre-paid cards also available, such as FairFX or Revolut which display your name on the front of the card, which can be used at Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World will accept the following methods of payment:
Visa
MasterCard
American Express
Discover Card
Diners Club Charge Card
JCB (Japan Credit Bureau)
Disney Gift Card
Disney Rewards Dollars
Disney® Visa® Card
It's worth noting that you may only use a standard debit or credit card to link to your
MagicBand.
Your holiday will soon be here! Remember the important planning dates: dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, either
online, or by using your
My Disney Experience account.
FastPass+ reservations are available 60 days in advance for Disney Resort hotel guests. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news, and possible events happening during your visit.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
