Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, H. You and your precious family are in for a treat!
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is the picture of Southern hospitality. My just loves this Resort hotel for it's peaceful charm and unique amenities.
Traveling from Pennsylvania to Orlando is enough adventure in one day for my family, so when we arrive at our Resort hotel, we like to take it easy. When you arrive at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, I suggest you start by exploring the resort. Stroll through Sassagoula Steamboat Company and check out Fulton's General Store and Riverside Mill Food Court. If it's warm, take a dip at Ol' Man Island, the resort's swimmin' hole, or at one of the leisure pools conveniently located near your room!
Once you're settled, hop on the ferryboat for a leisurely ride down the beautiful Sassagoula River to
Disney Springs for an evening of shopping and dining. Be sure to stop by World of Disney, home of the largest collection of Disney merchandise. Your little girl is sure to love the "Dream Big, Princess" Collection! There are so many incredible
dining locations at Disney Springs, but my family's favorites include Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', D-Luxe Burger, T-REX, and Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs Marketplace. After dinner, don't forget dessert! You'll find the very best sweet treats at Sprinkles and Amorette's Patisserie.
Then I suggest heading back to your Resort hotel for an early bedtime. If that princess of yours is ready to take on the world the next day at the theme parks, she'll need her rest!
I hope this was helpful, H. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
