If I arrive to Port Orleans before my room is ready, would they be able to refrigerate food items for me while I go to a park? Something like fresh fruit or yogurt?

Hello Robert! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Before our Walt Disney World Resort vacations, I frequently order groceries from third-party grocery vendors and have them delivered to our Resort Hotel for the day we Check-In. On those days, I usually pick up said groceries from Bell Services who hold them and keep refrigerated items cool until we collect them.

When you arrive at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter on your Check-In Day, you can leave your baggage and the refrigerated items you bring with you to Bell Services and they will gladly keep them cool for you while you await your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room.

You are also able to use Bell Services to hold your luggage (or any food items) on your Check-Out Date for one final day of Disney Magic at the Theme Parks after you vacate your Resort Hotel Room.

You can Check-In to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel up to 60 days in advance using the Online Resort Check-In Service to have an even more efficient first Disney day.

Be sure to check out YeHaa Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge during your stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort. He is one of my favorite performers in all of Walt Disney World Resort and a true Disney Legend.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
