    We arrive at 5pm the first day with 3 1/2 year old and 9 month old. If we have energy, what is the best place to wonder around and get quick dinner? 3 year old does not sit still in restaurants. Would our hotel (Grand Floridian) be entertaining enough?

    Hi Caroline!!  I currently have a 3 1/2 year old so I can completely relate to this question!  What a wonderful choice in your resort with the Grand Floridian!  Something that I would recommend for the evening you arrive is to hop on the Monorail and visit the Contemporary Resort and the Polynesian Resort.  This would give your kids a fun, free ride on the Monorail and let them experience the different atmospheres of the Monorail Resorts.  There are a few quick service restaurants you can pick from at all 3 resorts.  I would recommend the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary Resort.  This is a quick service restaurant that is on the Grand Canyon Concourse in the Contemporary.  You can sit and eat and watch the Monorail come through the Contemporary which our 3 year old loves to do!!  This should give you enough to do the first night and still get you in at a decent hour and get rested for your first day in the parks the next day!
