Arrive 5pm 6/14/15, depart 12pm 6/19/15. Hubby and oldest will be playing golf on Tue or Wed am. What days would you suggest we go to each park? Youngest and I will likely take the morning off to spend by the pool, while they play golf. Park afterward.

Hello Christi. Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like your family has a lot of fun planned for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! When I start to plan my vacation, I always look at the calendar to see which parks have Extra Magic Hours. When I've figured out how I can maximize my time in each park with the Extra Magic Hours, I will order the parks on my itinerary. For example, if I see that Disney's Animal Kingdom will only have Extra Magic Hours for one of the days during my stay, I will make sure to visit the park on Extra Magic Hours day. I find that it helps to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, so I plan my entire vacation around it.

You can also look online for a Walt Disney World crowd calendar. I usually look at the independent site www.undercovertourist.com to get an idea of which parks will be more crowded than others. This can also help you plan the order that you visit the parks. We always do a park a day and Magic Kingdom twice. Sometimes we even find ourselves back at the Magic Kingdom after a long day at another park. You just can't beat Wishes nighttime spectacular.

Please let us know if you have any more questions and we'd be happy to help.

Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!

I am a recent graduate from Ball State University and mother to my 5-year-old son. We love all things Disney and when we aren’t watching Disney films or planning our next vacation, we love to go to touring Disney shows. I also love to cook, listen to music, read books, and paint. With my experience planning vacations and navigating the parks from a single parent’s perspective, I hope to be able to add a little “pixie dust” to your vacation! Learn More About Sarah
