If we arrive before the 3:00 pm check in time, can we use our tickets/free parking that morning and go to one of the parks first and then check into our room later in the day?

Hi, Julie! Thank you for bringing us your question about your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! We are so excited to hear you have a trip planned!
Of course, you can head over to the parks and have fun until your room is ready! My family and I usually leave our bags with Bell Services and head over to the Parks right away. If your tickets are already linked to your resort reservation on your My Disney Experience app, you can simply turn up at the gates (there's no need to stop by the lobby for that). If they are at Will Call, you will have to collect them first outside any theme Park and then link them up to your resort reservation on your My Disney experience app so you can enter the parks by tapping either the cards you will be given or your linked MagicBand

While having fun at the Parks, you will receive an email notification and/or text message indicating that your hotel room is ready. At that point, you may decide to go back to the resort for a quick meal, a dip in the pool or just to freshen up a little and then head back to the Parks for a fun afternoon/evening followed by fireworks. If you prefer to stay at the parks, though, you can certainly do that and choose to pick up your luggage from Bell Services at the end of the day. It'll feel great to take a relaxing bath and flop into that comfy bed!

Julie, please come back to the Moms Panel if you have any additional questions as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort visit.  We are always happy to help!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
