We arrive Orlando at noon on 4/7, and will be renting a car. We have 6:15pm reservations for Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue. We are staying off property at Wyndham Reunion. How do we get to Fort Wilderness without going thru MK Toll Plaza?

    Hi Cheri,

You've planned a fun way to start your Walt Disney World vacation.

You do have to pass through the plaza where parking fees are collected for Magic Kingdom, but you won't have to pay to go to Fort Wilderness. As you approach the plaza, stay in one of the lanes to your right, as close as possible to the lane designated for buses only.

Tell the attendant that you are going to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, and he or she will direct you toward the side road that leads to Fort Wilderness.

Be aware that once you get to the parking at Fort Wilderness, you will need to take an internal bus to Pioneer Hall. So be sure to allow plenty of time.

I always like to allot an hour for transportation time. I'd rather be early than stressed about missing the show.

I hope that answers your question, and please let me know if I can offer more help before your arrival. Enjoy your visit!
