Hi, Tara! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
I'm sure you're getting excited to experience
all the Disney thrills during your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World Resort! I don't blame you for wanting to jump right into the fun as soon as you arrive in Orlando. Whether or not you'll be able to use your
theme park tickets prior to checking into your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel depends on what type of tickets you purchased.
If you bundled your resort hotel reservation together with your theme park tickets as a
vacation package, then those tickets will be valid during your resort hotel stay. This may differ a bit if your theme park tickets were purchased separately. However, even when they are not part of a vacation package, many types of theme park tickets are still date-based.
If you have your theme park tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account, you can easily check the dates for which those tickets can be used. Open your
My Disney Experience mobile app and click on the three lines in the bottom-right corner of your screen. Next, click on "Tickets and Passes" to view all of the tickets linked to your account. Under the bar code for each ticket, you should see the number of park days remaining on that ticket, as well as the dates for which the ticket is valid. If you have trouble locating the valid dates for your tickets, feel free to
call the Help Center phone number for existing tickets. A Cast Member should be able to pull up your account and tell you exactly when you'll be able to use your theme park tickets.
Tara, if we can help you with anything else as you get ready to travel, please visit planDisney again. See ya real soon!
