Hi Kevin! Welcome to planDisney! It's always great to talk with a fellow golfer! One of my favorite things to do at the Walt Disney World Resort is getting out on the links and playing a round or two! There is a lot to unpack from your questions, so let's get right to it!
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is currently open and operating. It is a delightful 9-hole, par-36 course and is walking-only. If you have not played here before, golf carts are not permitted on this course. They are accepting tee times 90 days in advance and are highly recommended. In order for you to book a tee time during your stay, check back after January 20th to start
booking your dates. Oak Trail will try to accommodate walk-up golfers if you decide one morning that a round of golf is in order.
Currently, Annual Passes are not being sold at the Walt Disney World Resort. Annual Pass sales were halted prior to the 2021 holiday season and a return date has yet to be announced. There is a chance that by the time you visit in late April that the Disney Incredi-Pass will be on sale yet again. I would advise following the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news and announcements.
With this being said, I wouldn't wait until your visit to secure your tickets. Disney is currently using a
Theme Park Reservation system that requires you to make advanced reservations to the theme park you prefer to visit on that day. Certain parks will reach capacity during busier times of the year, so it is best to plan ahead and make accommodations. Residents from Great Britain have the option to purchase a
Magic Ticket, which you can choose between a 7-day or 14-day ticket. You will be able to visit any of the four theme parks (with a valid park reservation), not just EPCOT. These tickets also include park-hopping,
Memory Maker, and a few additional perks.
As I stated earlier, if Annual Passes do return during your visit, there is a chance you will be able to upgrade your tickets upon arrival. I would suggest heading to
Guest Relations located outside of any of the four theme parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to speak with a Cast Member to assist.
Kevin, I hope you find this information helpful. If you make it out on the course during your stay, be sure to hit them straight. And don't forget to give yourself a mulligan from time to time. You are on vacation after all.
See ya real soon!
