We arrive at the Orlando airport at 11:30am on October 30th and doing Magical Express to Art of Animation. We want to head straight to Magic Kingdom. Would we make it in time for a 3:00-4:00 Fast Pass to meet Mickey Mouse?

    Hi Shari,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. What a fun first day of vacation you have planned! Starting your vacation by meeting Mickey Mouse is perfect - after all, it all started with a mouse! Then to have Disney's Art of Animation as your home resort sounds wonderful. I love the big, colorful tributes to animation at this resort.

I think that you have left yourself enough time to get to your Disney FastPass+ selection. I typically tell guests to consider about 90 minutes from the airport to Walt Disney World when using Disney's Magical Express. This includes time to walk to your motor coach, if you need to wait for one, the travel time, and any additional stops at resorts you may make before yours. Once you arrive at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you can head to your room if it is ready, or if it is not, you can leave anything you do not want to carry with you to the theme park with Bell Services. Then you can hop on a bus to Magic Kingdom, which will take you very close to the front gate of this park. You should be able to make your window to meet Mickey Mouse!

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Shari. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
