Hiya, Chinatsu!
Thanks so much for bringing your question to planDisney. While I've had plenty of late-night arrivals over the years, I've never arrived at Walt Disney World Resort after such a long flight –– I bet you're going to be more than ready to dive into the comfort of your
Disney Vacation Club Villa as soon as you make it to your DVC Resort! To help make your arrival as smooth as possible, let me share a few details about what you can expect when you arrive.
Even though the clock may have struck midnight before you arrive at a
Disney Vacation Club Resort, if you're planning to check in before 6 AM EST, you'll need to make a reservation that begins the day before. Let me give you an example –– if you'll be arriving at your DVC at 1 AM on December 2nd and you're planning to check in at that time, you'll actually need to book your reservation for a stay beginning on December 1st. However, if you prefer to wait until 6 AM to check in, your reservation won't begin until December 2nd.
If you're planning to check in overnight, I definitely recommend using the
Online Check-In Service, available through your My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World website or the
My Disney Experience mobile app. In addition to getting everything set for your stay, this service will also allow provide you with real-time updates once your room is ready and even unlock your room door once you arrive. Since it sounds like you'll be arriving well after your room should become available, you'll be able to bypass the Front Desk and head straight to your Villa once you arrive at the Resort, helping you to quickly get settled and head off to dreamland as soon as possible.
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Chinatsu. I hope this helped to answer your question and I'm wishing you lots of pixie dust during your upcoming Disney Vacation Club Resort stay!
Have a Magical Day,
Amy
