This is my kind of question, Roxanne, so I am thrilled to give you my personal favorites for dining at Walt Disney World. First of all, let me say congratulations on your anniversary and happiest of birthdays to your son! Celebrating in the parks is a great way to make an already magical place even more memorable!
My top three restaurants for 2 table service credits would have to be:
- Le Cellier (this may not be a choice for you since you are Canadian, but it is an all-time favorite of my husband and mine)
- Artist Point (the views and atmosphere are grand and the Cedar Plank Salmon is divine)
- Jiko-The Cooking Place (my husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary here)
For 1 table service credit, my top choices would be:
- Biergarten (it is our family tradition to go here every single trip)
- Teppan Edo (the hibachi-style Japanese cooking makes for a fun night out and the food is stellar)
- 50s Prime Time Cafe (the theming is unique and the guest/cast member interaction is loads of fun)
I think all of you would enjoy those six places. The first 3 are all fantastic places for a romantic dinner. I can attest to that since two of them, we went to on our honeymoon and the other we celebrated our anniversary. The second 3 are fun and lively places that I think your son would enjoy. They are also the type of restaurant that you wouldn't find in many other places.
So, enjoy your special trip celebrating life's moments while making new treasured memories!
