Hi David,
Welcome back to planDisney! It's always such a pleasure to see familiar names return to our corner of the internet, and it truly means the world to my fellow panelists and me that you continue to trust us with your
Walt Disney World Resort holiday planning questions over the years. You're just days away from your magical arrival. How exciting!
I’m guessing you're referring to needing your ID for things like enjoying an adult beverage at one of the many incredible dining locations throughout the resort. After you’ve checked in to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and you're out and about soaking in the magic, it's important to know that for our international Guests, including those visiting from the UK, a valid passport and another form of official government-issued identification are
required for age verification when purchasing alcohol. While I completely understand not wanting to carry your physical passport around the theme parks, at this time, it's the most widely accepted form of ID that meets Florida's legal requirements for proof of age, particularly for non-U.S. citizens.
David, if you'd like some recommendations on where to enjoy a great meal and sip on something delightful, just say the word. I've got a monorail resort-hopping evening plan that’s practically perfect in every way. Staying along
Disney's BoardWalk? I have a waterfront itinerary that pairs beautifully with a sunset stroll. And if you're heading around the world at EPCOT's World Showcase, let's just say I have more recommendations than you’ll be able to fit into one trip, but I’m happy to try!
Send me another question whenever you're ready, and I’d love to help you plan every last detail of your holiday.
Cheers,
Brent
