Hello, Erin, and welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry to hear about your knee, but I'm glad you're still planning to visit the
Most Magical Place On Earth!
You will be happy to know that over the years, Disney has designed the majority of attraction queues so that Guests with mobility issues can utilize various mobility assistance devices such as wheelchairs and Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs)/Scooters while waiting in line. In some cases, a Guest may even be able to stay in their wheelchair or transfer from an ECV/scooter to a wheelchair to enjoy the attraction.
For Guests needing a
wheelchair or
ECV/scooter, Disney World offers both for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. While wheelchairs can be rented for your stay, ECVs can only be rented daily. With both, the mobility assistance rental is good for the entire day, but you cannot leave the park. So, if you plan on utilizing the Park Hopper Option with your ticket, you must return your rental before leaving the park, make your way to the next park, and show your receipt to receive your rental at the new park.
Some Guests prefer to have the same wheelchair or scooter for the duration of their stay and like the ability to utilize them to/from their
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and the parks. In that case, I recommend you use your favorite internet search engine to find a local company that offers rentals with delivery, or I would point you to the bottom of the ECV page for the Disney Featured Provider.
I hope this helps, Erin! For more information about enjoying Disney World with mobility needs,

EPCOT will help ease your pain!
Cheers,
Brent
