Hi there, Robert. Thanks for stopping by planDisney. I'm so excited that you want to join the ranks of Magic Key holders! It's a magical club.
Robert, you can
upgrade your unexpired, partially used multi-day Disneyland theme park ticket midway through using it. You can do this at the Disneyland Main Ticket Booths or through the
Disneyland App (which I find way more convenient). However, the expiration date for the pass will be the first day you used the theme park ticket for entry (in this case, Monday). Additionally - and this is important - any existing park reservations associated with your multi-day ticket, will not transfer to your Magic Key. This means that once you upgrade, you need to make theme park reservations using the Magic Key Calendar for the remaining days you plan to visit. Right now, it looks like availability for next week is fairly open. However, the
Magic Key Calendar is ever-changing.
So, you have a couple of options to upgrade. You can upgrade midway through your ticket use but will need to make Magic Key park reservations for the remaining days of your visit next week. The other option would be to wait until the last day of use before midnight... but you risk Magic Key sales ending before then. Sales have opened and shut fairly quickly during past sales. There is a little risk involved in either scenario, Robert. For more information, please read the
"Tickets Upgrade" section of the Disneyland Resort website. The "When and Where to Upgrade Your Ticket" section will have all the information you need!
I hope this helps, Robert. Please stop by again for any more Magic Key questions. I'd love to assist!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
