    We arrive at MK early (8am) on 11/26, but will not get checked-in to our on-site hotel until 4:pm. Can we start using our dining plan credits before being checked into our room?

    Your magical vacation is almost here - I hope you are getting excited! I also want thank you for bringing us your excellent question. You sound like me in wanting to soak up every bit of magic, so your plan is perfect!

    As long as you complete Online Check-In from your My Disney Experience Account on the Walt Disney World Resort website, your Magic Your Way Vacation Package will be activated and ready for you to hit the ground running - this includes your Disney Dining Plan. Another great feature, you can opt-in to receive a text message and email when your Resort hotel room is ready and what your room number is, allowing you to bypass the front desk and head to your room at your convenience.

    Another great tip: downloaded the My Disney Experience Mobile App for your smartphone! The latest version of the app actual keeps track of your Disney Dining Plan entitlements for you. No more wondering how many snack credits you have left, the app will let you know.
