We arrive MCO at 9:40 am and taking ME to Poly. I really want to have the Tonga Toast when I arrive at the resort but afraid that breakfast will be over by the time we arrive. Can I order take-out and have it ready for when I check-in?

    Hi Savyvann --

Tonga Toast is delicious, and I certainly understand how much you are looking forward it.  Although, I have to say, I think you may want to hold out and have this treat on your second day.  If your flight arrives at 9:40, it is highly unlikely that you will make it to the Polynesian before 11:30, and that's assuming that everything goes smoothly with your flight.  It would be awful for you to arrive at the Polynesian only to find your Tonga Toast is cold and not appetizing.

If Kona Cafe isn't part of your breakfast plans during your stay at the Polynesian, you can still order Tonga Toast via In-Room Dining and have it delivered as you are getting ready for your day.  Breakfast is available from 7:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  It is also available at Captain Cook's Snack Company from 6:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Some things are worth the wait, and I would say that a fresh batch of Tonga Toast is one of them.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
