We arrive at MCO Orlando airport at 5:45pm on Friday and I'd really like to do that Luau at the Polynesian (we are staying at the Polynesian) that night at 8:15. Do you think that is possible or is that not enough time? We plan on renting a car.

    Aloha, Candace!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is my favorite dinner experience at the Walt Disney World Resort. Luau Cove's open-air theater, entertainment and all-you-care-to-enjoy feast makes this a yearly must-do for my 'ohana! I think your idea to rent a car, and travel straight to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort might not work well. If your plane arrives on time, that only gives you about two hours travel time, and since you will be traveling during rush hour, it is highly likely you will incur traffic during your commute. That is just cutting it too close for me! My suggestion is to look for another night to attend the Aloha Dinner Show so you can fully enjoy the experience. For your first night, consider a late dinner (or dessert) at Kona Cafe or head down to Capt. Cook's for a quick service meal. I hope that you find another night during your visit so you can experience the aloha spirit and dig into that fabulous food!
