We will arrive MCO @ 10am the day before our cruise. Worth a day in the park? Which one would you recommend for a 5-year-old boy? Can we take the Disney bus to the park (or via a resort) and return to airport later? Thanks.

Diana, a day in a Walt Disney World theme park is always a worth while endeavor!

Your five year old son will adore a day in the Magic Kingdom. In this classic theme park he can blast away at Zorg alongside Buzz Lightyear, sail with pirates, eat Mickey ice cream, and see character filled parades. Do consider grabbing the chance to spend an enchanting day with your child at the most magical place on earth.

To take Disney's Magical Express you must be staying at a Walt Disney World resort. If you are spending the night in the Orlando area, a WDW resort would be a fun choice. The value resorts have some great deals if you want to sleep cheap. Since the Disney Cruise Line picks up at the resorts, you could not pick a more convenient place to stay. If you want more info about transportation from WDW to Port Canaveral, contact my friends Nancy or Marcy who are the DCL specialists on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Enjoy your day in the park!
