We arrive in May -- can't wait. We plan to have the hopper tix. Still confused about how to get from AK to MK? And from HS to MK? Is there a link on the website that maps out all transportation, especially when it comes to non-monorail travel? Thx

    Hi Eileen,

The WDW transportation is very easy and once you get there you will have no problem getting around.  All the theme parks, as well as Downtown Disney, have bus depots.  They are large, located at the front entrance of each park, and are very easy to find.  Buses travel continuously between each theme park and to and from each resort.

If you are staying at a WDW resort, you will be able to take a bus to the Animal Kingdom, stay for a few hours, then take a bus to the Magic Kingdom.  When you are finished for the day, you can take a bus from the Magic Kingdom back to your resort.  If you are staying off property you can take the bus to which ever theme park you car is at and leave from there.

At the front of each bus depot you will find a bulletin board listing all the destinations and a corresponding queue number.  The buses pick up about every 10-15 minutes.

Have fun.  You'll be a pro at getting around WDW in no time.

    All the best - Michelle

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
