Hi! Arrive 7/8/13 @ 9:30am. Can kids swim at the resort (POR) before we actually get our room?( as check in isn't until later in the day.) Planning lunch at TRex at 3:00pm. Would the resort hold our carry ons? Any other 1st day, non park suggestions ?

Hi Lynn!

You can head to check-in at the Front Desk as soon as you arrive at Port Orleans - Riverside. You'll get all your dining entitlements, Key to the World card as soon as you check-in.

If your room is ready, you'll be able to head straight there and get settled. If not, you'll be able to enjoy your resort and it's amenities until it is ready. In the past, they've given me a simple call on my cell phone to let me know when my room is ready. Bell Services will happily hold your bags for you while you wait for your room.
