We arrive on 1/22/15. This will be my kids (8 & 11) first time to WDW. We are doing Magic Kingdom for sure and wondering if we should do Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom for our 2nd park day?

    Hi Alexis,

While it can be very difficult to choose one Walt Disney World over another, the best way to do so is to think about what your 2 kiddos are most interested in. If they are thrill seekers like my little girl, they will have the time of their lives in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Toy Story Midway Mania, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Tours and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster are some of the best attractions in the parks. They will also enjoy the shows available at Hollywood Studios, like Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show.

Disney's Animal Kingdom also has a few great attractions, like Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, it's more known for the atmosphere, shows and the awesomeness of it all! My son who isn't a thrill seeker loves Animal Kingdom because he can see beautiful animals on Kilimanjaro Safaris or become a Wilderness Explorer for the day and learn interesting facts about nature throughout the park.

So, if your kids are into a fast-paced, fun time in the parks. Hollywood Studios would be the way to go. If they are interested in learning and being amazed by wonders like the Tree of Life, let them make their way through Animal Kingdom.

I hope this helps, Alexis. If you need any more help with your vacation planning, we're always here.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
