Hi! We arrive on Jan 30'10 and its looking to be a wee bit wet week. I'm trying to look on the bright side that it will help keep the parks empty. I wanted to know though if they announce if the fireworks are cancelled or if they try and delay them first?

Hi Amber!  One thing you need to know about Florida weather is that no-one really knows what is going to happen so keep ponchos handy and head out for a great day in the parks!

Rain can tend to keep the crowds down and know what attractions are inside and which ones require waiting in lines outside so you are prepared if a shower should arrive.  I can't tell you how many times we have toured the parks in the rain and it just didn't matter to us.  Bring along a waterproof bag for personal items you want to keep dry and then just have fun!

The Illuminations and Wishes shows are not cancelled due to rain. Only in really dangerous weather will they stop them and I can't even remember but a handful of times this has actually happened.  Parades are more likely to be cancelled due to heavy rain as the safety of the performers comes first. They will be cancelled and not delayed.

Have fun and stay dry....will send some magic your way for great weather during your vacation!
