We arrive at our holiday on the 15th of June 2011, its my daughters first birthday on the 25th of June. Do Disney have any special events for birthday kids?

Birthdays at WDW are so much fun. First, make sure that you get the free Happy Birthday button at Guest Services at any of the parks and then don't hesitate to let all the cast members know that it is your daughter's first birthday (maybe even a t-shirt that says that would be a way to advertise).  I can't guarantee anything, but surprises may come your way when you least expect it.

Character dining can also make the occasion special.  If your daughter would like the true princess experience, Cinderella's Royal Table (inside the castle) may be a magical experience.  Does she like Pooh and friends? The Crystal Palace is a chance to meet the characters from the 100 Acre Woods.  And if she loves Mickey and the gang, Chef Mickey's is a place to celebrate and meet the gang. And you can even order her a birthday cake!  A "generic" cake can be ordered without notice at any table service restaurant; just let the cast member know when you check in.  Or, you can order a speciality cake in advance by calling 407-827-2253.  And if you'd like a surprise in the room, Disney Floral and Gifts can help with that. I would encourage you to make dining reservations soon because the restaurants to fill up quickly.  Reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE or by clicking here

Wishing your daughter an early happy birthday!
