Hi, we arrive on Friday night so our first day will be Saturday 26th April, ideally we will do magic kingdom on first day and Hollywood studios on the second day, is this a bad idea on the weekend? Which days are best for these parks?

Welcome to planDisney, Gemma! Thanks for stopping by with your question. It sounds like you're planning an amazing trip, and I love that you're thinking ahead about your park days. I'm happy to reassure you, there's no bad day to visit Walt Disney World!

It's true that weekends tend to be busier than weekdays, but they're certainly not bad days to visit. If Magic Kingdom is where you want to start your adventure, go for it! There's something really special about starting your trip walking down Main Street, U.S.A., and seeing Cinderella Castle on the first day of your vacation. It really sets the tone for a magical holiday!

To make the most of your weekend visit, I recommend getting to the parks early, especially if you have Early Park Entry as a perk of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. I also recommend taking advantage of Lightning Lane to help with wait times and taking advantage of evening hours when the crowds start to thin out. Hollywood Studios on Sunday will be a blast with so many amazing shows and attractions to enjoy! No matter what, you're going to have a wonderful time, so stick with the schedule that works best for you and get ready for a magical vacation.

    See ya real soon!
