Hi, Janette! Welcome to planDisney! I see that like my favorite character, Rapunzel, you have a dream to experience the
Best. Day. EVER! And there's no better place to do that than the Walt Disney World Resort. After all, it's the place where dreams come true!
There are so many things to think about when planning a Walt Disney World vacation, like when to go,
where to stay,
where to eat, and, of course, buying tickets. I think that's where Mother Gothel might have thrown a wrench into your plans, Janette. As the
phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort continues, capacity at the Theme Parks has been limited to ensure the safety of Guests and Cast Members. One way they're doing that is to require Guests to make a
Disney Park Pass reservation in advance of the days they plan to visit. With many schools out on Spring Break now, Disney Park Pass reservations are unavailable in the Theme Parks for the next several days. I took a look at the
Tickets page on the Walt Disney World website, and it looks like we're unable to purchase tickets for days when there are no reservations left. That seems to be the reason you haven't been able to buy your tickets for this week.
Janette, you might want to check the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar to see what days do have openings in the Theme Parks in the coming weeks. If you can be a little flexible with your dates, you're sure to find some that are open. Then, just buy tickets for those dates, make your Disney Park Pass reservations, and you'll be ready to live your dream!
I hope this helps you plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Janette. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
