We arrive at 10am on a flight, Friday, May 15th. I'm trying to make dinning plans for that evening at Magic Kingdom. What's the likelihood of getting checked into Animal Kingdom lodge before the normal 3pm. Hotel is so big, maybe more room are available?

    Jambo Rose!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a gorgeous Resort with so much to offer. You must be very excited for your vacation!

While I can't guarantee an early check-in, I do have a couple of ideas for you. I recommend you complete the Online Check-In process using My Disney Experience 60 days in advance of your arrival date. Here, you have the option to add your expected arrival time and request early check-in. You may also prioritize early check-in above other room requests and add your phone number if you would like to receive a text message when your room is ready.

In my experience, Cast Members will do everything they can to make your stay as magical as possible. I have been fortunate to have a room ready before 3pm on several different occasions. That said, if your room is not yet available when you arrive, you can always leave any bags or luggage with Bell Services so you can get down to the business of having fun. If you don't want to leave for the parks until after you have a room, feel free to enjoy a meal in the Resort or take a dip in one of the fabulous pools while you wait.

I hope you enjoy your vacation, Rose. Please stop back by if you have any other questions.
