If I arrive at 9 am the first day my magic bands will work, can I head to the park that morning and they will work? I don't check into my hotel until 3pm and I don't want to miss half a day of Disney on our short trip.

    Hi Alisha!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to hear that you planning to make the most out of your vacation days during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. There is so much to see during your trip that you won't want to miss out on a minute of the fun! Even though check-in to Walt Disney World Resort hotels is 3:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. for Disney Deluxe Villas and 1:00 p.m. for The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort), you will still be able to enjoy the theme parks and use your MagicBands on the first day of your vacation. Simply make a quick stop at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel front desk when you arrive and they will get you checked in for your reservation, activate any theme park tickets and dining plan that you have purchased with your Magic Your Way vacation package package and ensure your MagicBand PIN has been setup correctly so you will can use it for purchase. You can also check any bags you have with Bell Services so you are free to enjoy your day. If you are using Disney's Magical Express, be sure to take advantage of their yellow luggage tags so your bags will magically be waiting for you in your room at the end of your day.

Make sure to take advantage of Online Check-In, beginning 60 days in advance, so your trip to the front desk will be as quick and easy as possible! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
