Can you arrive early at a resort to park and use the buses/monorail/sky lift before checking in? Trying to avoid driving to the park, paying to park there, then paying to park at the resort that evening

Hey there Alan and welcome to planDisney!

On my arrival day, I almost always plan to get to The Most Magical Place on Earth as early as possible. It turns my travel day into an extra day of fun to start my vacation off right. And I love that they have so many ways to make that early travel easy for me.

One of my favorite things about being a Guest at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is that I am officially a Guest as soon as my arrival date starts. If you arrive before your room is ready, you can still come and park at your resort and then hop on Disney Transportation to hit the parks. If you're anything like me, that car probably won't move again until it's time to head home. Since you have a vehicle with you, you have the option to wait until you return later to take out the luggage, or you could remove it and leave it with Bell Services for safekeeping until you return later to pick it up.

Pro-tip: If you've already booked your room, utilize Online Check-In Service via your My Disney Experience app right now. You can actually let your resort know an estimated time of arrival and if there's availability, they'll do their best to have your room ready for you.

Alan, don't you worry about a little thing like getting in early. The Walt Disney World Resort has got you covered. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
