Hi there, we arrive to a Disney resort and I see check in time is at 3pm. Since we are from out of country we need to pick up our magic bands at the front desk. Could we pick them up before official check in so we can go to a park earlier that day?

    Hi Sherry,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

Yes, you may absolutely visit your Walt Disney World Resort hotel prior to the 3 pm check-in to retrieve your MagicBands, leave your luggage with Bell Services, and see if your room is ready early.

You really do want those MagicBands before you venture out into a theme park for the day, as they make visiting the Walt Disney World Resort a breeze! There are so many things your MagicBand can do for you while you are on vacation. Your park tickets, FastPass+ selections, Memory Maker photo scanning, Disney Dining Plancredits, hotel room charge account and your room key are all rolled into one convenient device with your MagicBand.  This coupled with your My Disney Experience account on your smartphone or computer make this all you'll need when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

Sherry, check in early, go forth and have a fantastic time! Come back and visit us again with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
