We arrive at Disney on Nov. 17th,2020. When can I make dining reservations and fastpasses? Thank You, Tammie

    Hi Tammie!

Plans are in the air for a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! Advanced dining reservation day and FastPass+ selection day are exciting times in our household. I am delighted to help you prepare!

If you have booked a vacation package at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or other select hotels with special guest benefits, you can make those FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to arrival at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. For your trip, your FastPass+ window should open on September 18th. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or one of those other select hotels with special guest benefits, then your FastPass+ window opens 30 days prior to arrival. If you have linked your vacation package in My Disney Experience, check My Plans and FastPass+. We have an upcoming trip and I can see our FastPass+ selection date there!

Guests of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and other select hotels also can make advanced dining reservations for the length of stay (up to 10 days) 180 days prior to arrival. Assuming you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, your dining reservation window should open on May 21st. I would start checking online at 5:45 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, especially for those hard to get reservations. I also make those reservations as soon as our reservation window opens so that we can get our preferred dining times at each restaurant. If you have a larger party, advanced reservations are especially important. Finally, review these dining reservation details for special dining experiences and dessert parties.

Be sure to review the Attractions List prior to making those FastPass+ selections, consider the days you will visit each park, and the geography of FastPass+ selections along with advanced dining reservations. We often make our dinner reservations for restaurants near the park exit or at our resort hotel. We appreciate not having to worry about hiking through the park after dinner.

Tammie, you seem to be an experienced planner but a little extra pixie dust never hurt. Consider yourself pixie-dusted to help all go smoothly as you make those FastPass+ selections and advanced dining reservations!

    Magic and memories,
