I will arrive on December 23rd. Do I need to purchase Christmas party tickets to see the fireworks and parade on December 24?

Heigh-ho-ho-ho, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney! Your visit will be here in a jingle, so let's talk about the holiday offerings you can enjoy during the most wonderful time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort.

I have holly-jolly news for you! Since the final day for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is December 22 this year, Magic Kingdom Park will be open for all guests on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. You can soak in all that festive cheer with a regular theme park ticket.

And in the spirit of the season, I have even BETTER news! As a special pixie dust sprinkle, guests will be treated to special showings of typically party-exclusive events on those days. Remember that you'll need a regular ticket and a Theme Park Reservation for Magic Kingdom Park.

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is currently listed at noon and 3:00 PM on Christmas Eve, so be sure to catch the merriest mouse as he leads this party on wheels down Main Street, USA. And that evening, you can head to Cinderella Castle to watch Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. It's like finding bonus gifts in your stocking, Jennifer!

Keep an eye on the park calendar because times and offerings are always subject to change. You can also check your My Disney Experience Mobile App by tapping the Park Hours & Info tile and toggling to "Today" to get up-to-date information once you're at any theme park.

My tip is to purchase Disney Genie+ Service on those bustling days. Everyone loves to be at the Most Magical Place on Earth for the holidays! Genie+ will allow you to book Lightning Lanes for many attractions so you can have a shorter wait time. My favorite is to sail on Jingle Cruise for some festive pun...I mean, fun!

Jennifer, your upcoming visit is sure to be merry and bright. Please stop by planDisney anytime. I'll leave the tree lights on for you!

    Magic awaits,
